Private Tuition

Whether you require therapeutic yoga, a dynamic vinyasa session or you would just like to learn the basics, a private class can be tailored to meet your specific needs. It is more intense but James' teaching style is accessible and enjoyable.

Previous experience is not necessary. The sessions are based on Hatha yoga techniques, consisting of asana (posture) practices and pranayama (breathing) exercises, and can be as dynamic or as gentle as required. The aim is to improve flexibility and strength, whilst also developing the ability to relax and calm the mind.

The benefits of meditation have been proclaimed by almost every spiritual tradition and today those benefits are being scientifically proven to enhance good health, of mind and body.

There are many forms of meditation but one of the oldest forms is by simply observing one's breathing and the sensations created in the body. The best way to experience this form of meditation is on a Vipassana course, as taught by S. N. Goenka and his assistant teachers in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.
